Booking your very first facial can feel a little intimidating, but it shouldn’t. At Luxe N’ Glow, every appointment is designed to feel like a calm, judgment-free reset for your skin. Here’s exactly what to expect.
Before you arrive
A few simple things make a big difference:
- Skip strong actives (retinoids, glycolic/salicylic acids) for 3–5 days beforehand.
- Avoid sun exposure and waxing for 24–48 hours prior.
- Come as you are. You can keep your makeup on; we’ll cleanse it all off.
If you have allergies, are pregnant, or recently had a cosmetic treatment, just let us know when you book so we can tailor everything safely.
During your treatment
Your facial always begins with a one-on-one skin analysis. This is where we look at your skin’s hydration, texture, and any concerns you want to focus on, then build the treatment around that, not a fixed script.
A typical Signature Facial includes:
- A double cleanse to fully reset the skin
- Custom exfoliation suited to your skin type
- Gentle, thorough extractions (only as needed)
- A relaxing facial and lymphatic massage
- A treatment mask chosen for the day
- Serums, moisturizer, and SPF to seal it all in
Most clients drift off somewhere around the massage, and that’s exactly the point.
After your glow
Your skin may look a little flushed for an hour or two; that’s normal and fades quickly. For the next 24 hours:
- Keep your routine gentle: no actives or exfoliation.
- Hydrate and wear SPF.
- Resist the urge to touch or pick.
How often should you come back?
For most skin types, a facial every 4–6 weeks keeps results consistent, roughly one full skin cycle. We’ll always give you a personalized recommendation before you leave.
